What is Delta 8 THC
Delta 8, the Sedentary Cannabinoid
Delta 8 is legal in North Carolina and most of the USA
Delta 8 is a hemp derived compound that has gained traction in the market due to its similarities to delta-9 THC. Delta-9 THC is the main compound in cannabis that creates euphoria and psychoactive effects.
THC’s scientific name is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, or delta-9 THC, or just delta-9. Delta 8 is short for delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol, or delta-8 THC. Delta 8 THC is 50-75% strength compared to delta-9 THC.
It’s recommended to take a smaller dose at first; then wait for the full onset of effects before increasing the dose. Your consumption method will affect how quickly you feel those effects. If you’re vaping delta-8, you should feel the effects within ten minutes or less; 25-40 minutes if taking distillate edibles, wait at least an hour or two before taking more.
